From photographer: “One of ‘my Precious’, a new specimen of a crystal of chalcopyrite that has been treated with acid to make it tarnish to these colors of blue, purple and red. See link for more detail about this specimen purchased from the Tucson Rock and Gem Show this year. I’m fairly sure it is from Mexico.”
